The 10th annual Little Falls Cheese Festival, the largest cheese event in the Northeast, draws about 15,000 visitors to the New York town of Little Falls, which has a population of around 4,500.
Taking place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the free festival features over 70 vendors offering New York State cheeses, wines, craft beer, baked goods, and other local products along five blocks of Main Street.
Activities include a Cheesy 5K at 9 a.m., live music, food trucks, and shuttle service.
Attendees come from across the Northeast, including Vermont, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Quebec, supporting local agriculture and small businesses.
The event, now a major regional attraction, is organized by a local committee led by chairperson Teri Chace.
