The Santa Express returns to Cumbria’s Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway from November 22 to December 24, offering festive train rides on weekends through December 14 and daily from December 20, including Christmas Eve. Families begin at Ravenglass Railway Museum with hot chocolate and storytelling before a 40-minute steam train journey to Dalegarth Grotto, where Father Christmas and entertainers like magician Stu Di Doo await. Children receive an activity pack and a 150th-anniversary teddy bear, with a new Santa’s Little Helper Express for pre-schoolers on December 12 featuring a storybook gift.
