India's nationwide health campaign screened 6.5 crore women by Oct. 2, 2025, with major focus on cancer, maternal, and child health.
The 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar' campaign, launched by Prime Minister Modi on September 17, screened 6.5 crore women across nearly 18 lakh health camps nationwide by October 2, 2025.
Health Minister J.P. Nadda called it a historic milestone, highlighting over 37 lakh breast cancer, 19 lakh cervical cancer, and 1.78 crore hypertension screenings.
The initiative also included 62.6 million antenatal check-ups, 1.43 crore childhood vaccinations, and screenings for diabetes, anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease.
Additional services featured nutrition counseling, blood donor registrations, and over 10.69 lakh Ayushman Bharat cards issued.
