Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a visit to Bastar, Chhattisgarh, reaffirmed the government’s "surrender or elimination" policy toward Maoists, rejecting dialogue and setting a March 31, 2026, deadline to eradicate Naxalism.
He highlighted over Rs 4.4 lakh crore in development investments, including infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and 15,000 homes for affected families, and announced Rs 1 crore for Naxal-free villages.
