Fox has canceled the animated series The Great North after five seasons, with no plans for a sixth season.
The show, which aired its final episode on September 14, 2025, was not included in Fox’s 2025-26 schedule announcement.
Created by Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin with Loren Bouchard, the series followed the Tobin family in rural Alaska, starring Nick Offerman and Jenny Slate.
Despite positive reviews and a loyal fanbase, the cancellation came as Fox prioritized renewing other long-running animated shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, and American Dad!.
