A charity hoedown on October 10 at Kendal’s Ibis Sports and Social Club, organized by Financial Management Bureau, aims to raise £2,000 for the Kendal Mountain Rescue Team. The event, featuring live music from country band Gravel and Gunn, follows other fundraising efforts including a guided walk, gin tasting, car wash, and a 24-mile walk. FMB has already raised £2,000 this year, and the hoedown is inspired in part by the TV series Yellowstone’s popularity among staff. Tickets are available via trybooking.co.uk.
