Supreme Court alleging former NHL player Willie Mitchell sexually assaulted her at his home on September 11, 2022, after she became severely intoxicated at the resort’s pub. The claim states she was incapacitated, taken to Mitchell’s residence, and subjected to unprotected sexual activity without consent. She reported the incident to police the next day and underwent a forensic exam. Mitchell, a former Canucks defenseman and resort director, has not responded. The lawsuit also alleges the resort may have been negligent in serving alcohol and that other women may have similar allegations. The case is ongoing, and no criminal charges were filed.
