A UK surgeon was stripped of his license for antisemitic Facebook posts made after the Oct. 7 attacks.
A former NHS surgeon, Manoj Sen, has been struck off the medical register after making antisemitic remarks on Facebook in October 2023 following the October 7 attacks in Israel.
The comments, which included calling a Jewish man “vermin” and suggesting he belonged in a crematorium, were widely shared and led to his arrest and a police caution.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service ruled in September 2025 that his statements reflected deep-rooted hostility undermining his ability to provide fair care.
Sen, who had worked in the NHS for 25 years, retired after the incident and did not attend the hearing, though he claimed the remarks were provoked and apologized publicly and privately.
The London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust confirmed he is no longer employed and affirmed its zero-tolerance policy toward hate speech.
