Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces a Privacy Display that limits screen visibility to direct viewing, enhancing privacy in public.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will include a new Privacy Display feature that limits screen visibility to direct front viewing, reducing the risk of unauthorized peeking in public.
Available in One UI 8.5, it can be toggled manually, set to activate automatically in crowded places like elevators or transit, or triggered by specific apps, protected media, or login screens.
A "Maximum Privacy" mode dims the screen further.
The feature is exclusive to the S26 Ultra, leveraging hardware-level optical technology, and reflects Samsung’s growing emphasis on privacy.
It is not expected on other models or earlier devices.
