Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch over ₹62,000 crore in youth initiatives on October 4, including the ₹60,000 crore PM-SETU scheme to upgrade 1,000 government ITIs via a hub-and-spoke model with global financing and industry partnerships.
The plan includes 1,200 vocational skill labs in schools across 34 states, training in high-demand sectors.
In Bihar, reforms include a monthly ₹1,000 allowance for 500,000 graduates, an interest-free student loan scheme with over ₹7,880 crore disbursed, and the inauguration of a new skill university.
New academic facilities will be launched at four Bihar universities, and the Bihta campus of NIT Patna, featuring advanced labs and ISRO collaboration, will be dedicated.
Over 4,000 government recruits will receive appointment letters, and ₹450 crore in scholarships will be distributed to 25 lakh students.
