A Pennsylvania peanut shop owner is charged with forcing two 17-year-olds into sex using drugs and money.
Joseph Grossman, 36, owner of Poppy’s Peanuts in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, has been charged with promoting prostitution of a minor and corruption of minors after allegedly pressuring two 17-year-old employees into sexual encounters using money and drugs between January and June 2025.
Prosecutors say he made inappropriate physical contact, offered cash and marijuana for sex, and continued contacting one victim after she quit.
A second victim reported being given a potent substance that caused dizziness.
Grossman, who denies the allegations, was released on a $25,000 bond and remains free to operate his business.
Authorities believe more victims may exist and are urging the public to come forward.
