A Oregon woman was charged with assaulting an ICE officer and damaging property during a September 30 protest.
Katherine Meagan Vogel, 39, of Oregon, was charged with felony assault on a federal officer and property damage after allegedly applying red paint to an ICE facility driveway and striking an officer in the jaw during a protest on September 30, 2025.
She appeared in court on October 2 and was released under conditions.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the incident is part of a broader crackdown, with 28 people charged since June 13 over crimes at the facility.
The assault charge carries up to eight years in prison.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
