Oregon will send $3.5 million in unclaimed funds to thousands without claims in October 2025.
Oregon State Treasurer Elizabeth Steiner announced that about $3.5 million in unclaimed funds will be sent directly to thousands of Oregonians in October 2025 through the state’s “Checks Without Claims” initiative.
The payments, ranging from $50 to $10,000, are for unclaimed property reported between 2019 and 2023, including uncashed checks, forgotten bank accounts, tax refunds, and investment balances.
Verified individuals will receive funds without filing a claim, following a similar effort earlier in 2025 that returned nearly $11 million.
