Mariah Carey says a unreleased 2025 duet with Michael Jackson, called a "classic," remains blocked by estate issues.
Mariah Carey has expressed frustration over the unreleased collaboration she recorded with the late Michael Jackson, calling it one of his "classics" and stating she is upset the track remains unavailable.
She revealed the song, which she added new background vocals to, was intended for her 2025 album *Here For It All* but has not been cleared for release, likely due to unresolved matters with Jackson’s estate.
Carey shared her disappointment on *Watch What Happens Live*, noting that listeners consistently reacted with awe when hearing it, and has urged fans to petition for its release.
The two previously worked together on the 2001 charity single "What More Can I Give."
Jackson died in 2009 at age 50.
