Lewis & Clark College is replacing its pioneer-themed mascot with a new one selected from eight finalists: Cascades, Herons, Lynx, Mammoths, Pronghorns, River Otters, Riverhawks, and Timberwolves. The process, led by Vice President Dr. Ben Meoz, narrowed over 400 ideas and emphasized community input and alignment with Pacific Northwest values.
