DEME wins $58M–$176M contract to install cables for Germany’s Nordseecluster B offshore wind project, powering 1.6 million homes starting late 2027.
DEME, a Belgium-based offshore company, has won a $58 million to $176 million contract to install 124 kilometers of inter-array cables for Nordseecluster B, Germany’s offshore wind project in the North Sea.
The project, a joint venture between RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management, will power about 1.6 million homes and is set to begin in late 2027 using the vessel Living Stone.
RWE oversees construction and operations for the entire Nordseecluster initiative.
