David Ross says he’d be interested in managing the Braves after Brian Snitker’s departure.
Former Braves catcher David Ross said returning to Atlanta as manager would be "amazing," expressing interest in the role after Brian Snitker announced he won’t return following a 10-year tenure.
Ross, a 2009–2012 Braves player and former Cubs manager, praised his time with Atlanta and noted his readiness to manage again after a 262-284 record with Chicago.
The Braves, who finished 76-87 in 2024, are seeking a new manager, with Ross among early names mentioned alongside Walt Weiss, Fredi González, Mark DeRosa, Ryan Flaherty, and Skip Schumaker.
Braves GM Alex Anthopoulos has not named candidates, and Ross said he has no confirmation but remains open to the possibility.
