A California woman admitted to stealing $2.8 million from a noodle company and spending it on luxury items and homes.
Tae Miyaji Jones, a 50-year-old Huntington Beach woman, pleaded guilty to embezzling $2.8 million from a Garden Grove-based instant noodle company between 2017 and July 2023.
She used her role as an account manager to transfer funds to personal accounts, spending the money on luxury items, homes in Alabama and Hawaii, and personal debts.
Jones admitted to 10 counts of embezzlement, seven counts of mail fraud, and three counts of wire fraud, and agreed to forfeit stolen assets.
She is scheduled to be sentenced on April 6, 2026.
