A new partnership will bring affordable, high-speed internet to seven African nations starting in 2026.
A partnership between Raxio Group and Laser Light Africa will expand affordable, high-speed internet across seven African nations—Angola, DRC, Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda—home to nearly half a billion people.
Starting in Angola in 2026, the project will use Raxio’s data centres and Laser Light’s integrated optical network to reduce latency, lower bandwidth costs by up to 90%, improve reliability, and enhance security by localizing data.
The initiative will support edge computing, create jobs, boost digital services like telemedicine and fintech, and strengthen regional connectivity.
