Missouri lit its capitol dome pink Oct. 1–2 to honor breast cancer awareness and promote early detection.
The Missouri State Capitol dome was lit pink from October 1 to October 2, 2025, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as ordered by Governor Mike Kehoe.
The display honors survivors, patients, and families, highlighting breast cancer’s prevalence—with about 6,000 new cases annually in Missouri.
The governor stressed the importance of early detection, regular screenings, and access to treatment and support services.
