Anlaby Station, a historic 745-hectare pastoral property in South Australia’s Barossa and Clare valleys, is for sale for the first time since 1839, marking the end of a 20-year restoration by owners Andrew Morphett and Peter Hayward.
Established as Australia’s oldest continuously operating Merino stud, the property features a 35-room homestead, restored Victorian and Edwardian buildings, 10 acres of nationally significant gardens, and over 648 heritage trees.
It now operates as a boutique bed and breakfast, wedding venue, and tourism destination, with income from events, wool products, and agriculture.
The sale, managed by Colliers, closes November 21 with no price listed, attracting interest from high-net-worth buyers, tourism operators, and heritage enthusiasts.
