Telopea Downs, a 47,660-hectare farm on the Victorian-South Australian border, is being sold by sixth-generation family-owned AJ & PA McBride Ltd.
The property, acquired for $70 million in 2018 from Qatar’s Hassad Australia, is now being marketed globally through Colliers Agribusiness, with international interest closing November 21, 2025.
Formed from 11 contiguous properties, it features over 98% arable land, irrigation entitlements, and infrastructure including a 12-stand shearing shed.
It supports over 85,000 sheep and 1,100 cattle, with a carrying capacity exceeding 100,000 sheep or cattle equivalents.
The company plans to retain all 90 employees, either on the property or within its network.
Experts suggest the farm could sell for twice its original purchase price due to strong land value growth.
