Four Minnesota-made innovations, including a self-landing plane and off-road vehicle, are finalists in a state competition.
The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and BMO have narrowed their "Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota" competition to four finalists: the Cirrus SR Series G7+ aircraft with autonomous landing, Polaris MRZR military vehicle, ATZ Trackchair for all-terrain mobility, and the Vistabule Teardrop Trailer.
Voting runs through Oct. 5, with the winner announced Oct. 7 at the Manufacturers’ Summit.
The contest, now in its second year, began with 60 entries, including Velveeta and stadium railings, and celebrates the state’s manufacturing innovation, following last year’s win by 3M’s Scotch Magic Tape.
