Former Bamban mayor Alice Guo faces 70 charges over fake identities, document fraud, and property purchases tied to her family.
The National Bureau of Investigation has filed 70 criminal charges against former Bamban mayor Alice Guo, also known as Guo Hua Ping, and relatives over alleged document falsification and violations of the Anti-Dummy Law. The cases, filed with the Malolos, Bulacan Prosecutor’s Office, stem from a Senate inquiry revealing Guo and family members used false Filipino identities to register six companies and purchase property in Marilao, Bulacan. Charges include falsifying public documents, simulating capital stock, and submitting false permit applications. Guo, currently detained on unrelated charges including money laundering and human trafficking, was removed as mayor over alleged ties to illegal gaming operations.
