A 14-year-old boy, Judah Courtney, is charged as an adult with criminal homicide and aggravated assault in the stabbing deaths of two women—his mother, Olivia Courtney, 32, and family friend Ashley Cook, 38—in Carrolltown, Pennsylvania.
Police found the victims with multiple stab wounds after a welfare check on September 29, 2025, and discovered blood on the teen’s clothing and injuries on his hands.
Courtney reportedly admitted to the killings, saying “I did it!” during an interview, and sent a Snapchat message and video to a friend claiming he killed his parents and showing the bodies.
Three knives were found in a garbage can, and signs of a struggle were present.
The family had recently moved from Texas.
A preliminary hearing is set for October 16, and the investigation remains ongoing.
