The baby, still unnamed and gender unknown, will make its public debut on October 1 in the Harmony Hideaway exhibit, where it is bonding with its mother in a closed-off area. The zoo emphasized the importance of minimizing stress during health checks, using a stuffed animal surrogate. With the addition, the exhibit now houses three sloths, including Liana. The public unveiling highlights the zoo’s animal care and conservation efforts.
