Eight Arab and Muslim nations endorse Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan calling for ceasefire, hostage release, and Palestinian statehood.
Eight Arab and Muslim nations, including Egypt, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, jointly welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan to end the Gaza conflict, endorsing its core elements: an immediate ceasefire, full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, release of all hostages within 72 hours, unrestricted humanitarian aid, Palestinian statehood with East Jerusalem as its capital, and security guarantees.
The plan, introduced after talks between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, also calls for amnesty for Hamas members who renounce violence, release of detained Palestinians and Israeli prisoners, and reconstruction of Gaza.
While regional and international leaders expressed support, Israel’s response was mixed, with Netanyahu stating war aims were met but warning of continued military action if rejected.
Hamas has received the proposal for review.
