A 25-year-old Wichita man, Kyle Sales, was arrested in central Nebraska on Friday after allegedly threatening another driver with a shotgun during a road rage incident on Highway 2 in Buffalo County.
Authorities say he waved the weapon from a saddlebag around 9:30 a.m. before being stopped near Berwyn about 15 minutes later, when the shotgun was found.
He was charged with terroristic threats, using a firearm to commit a felony, and possession of a short shotgun, and is being held in Custer County Jail.
The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the incident, which prompted public concern about safety on state highways.
