A UK man pleaded guilty to stabbing his dog after a bite, resulting in euthanasia and a suspended sentence.
A 22-year-old Hull man, Brandon Logan, pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering after stabbing his dog, KiKi, on May 11, 2025, leading to the dog’s euthanasia.
Prosecutors said the attack followed a dog bite to Logan’s nose, prompting him to use a knife.
Police found blood and paw prints in the garden, and Logan refused to cooperate with emergency responders.
Though he had no prior convictions and showed remorse, citing substance misuse, he was sentenced to a four-month suspended prison term, 150 hours of unpaid work, 15 days of rehabilitation, and a 10-year ban from owning animals.
