Star Copper Corp. found high-grade copper in British Columbia, confirming a large, shallow deposit with potential for expansion.
Star Copper Corp. announced strong drill results from its Phase 1 program at the Star Project in British Columbia, with hole S-051 intersecting 226.54 meters of 0.70% CuEq, including 90 meters of 1.0% CuEq, and overlimit copper assays exceeding 10,000 ppm.
The findings confirm a broad, near-surface supergene copper enrichment zone measuring 300 by 250 meters and extending to 100 meters depth, with consistent mineralization and a clear transition to hypogene zones below faults.
The company identified expanded drilling targets northeast and southwest and plans to confirm deeper mineralization.
Additional assay results are pending.
