The Singapore Food Agency is investigating a rat sighting at an Economy Rice stall in SIT’s Punggol campus food court, captured in a viral video showing the rodent on a cashier tablet.
The incident occurred September 25 after hours, and the stall was disinfected by 6:30 a.m. September 26.
Foodgle, the operator, increased pest control, added traps, and boosted inspections, citing surrounding vegetation and overhead pipes as contributing factors.
