Pakistani national Raqib Bilal, imprisoned in India, was repatriated via the Attari-Wagah border on September 29, 2025, according to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
The move follows the latest prisoner list exchange under the 2008 Agreement on Consular Access, with India holding 463 Pakistani nationals, including 382 civilians and 81 fishermen.
Pakistan provided India a list of 246 Indian or believed-to-be-Indian nationals, mainly fishermen, and urged immediate release of those who completed sentences and consular access for others.
The repatriation reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve the status of detained nationals between the two countries.
