The 2026 Mitsubishi ASX, launching in Australia from October to December 2025, is a rebadged version of the updated Renault Captur, marking a shift to a more premium image with a starting price of $37,740 plus on-road costs—$13,300 higher than the outgoing model. It features a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine, 113kW and 270Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and is claimed to be 16% more fuel-efficient with 19% lower CO2 emissions than the previous 2.0-litre engine, achieving 6.4L/100km and 142g/km, meeting Euro 6e standards. Three trims—LS, Aspire, and Exceed—are available, backed by Mitsubishi’s 10/10 Diamond Advantage warranty, a 10-year capped-price servicing plan, and up to four years of free roadside assistance. The second-generation model replaces a version that has undergone three facelifts since 2010, with future variants possible.
