A Kansas City woman charged with murder and arson after allegedly killing a man, hiding his body, and setting fire to the apartment.
A 45-year-old Kansas City woman, Dianna Brown, has been charged with second-degree murder, arson, and other felonies after allegedly killing 44-year-old Robert Hill with a hammer on September 14, hiding his body for days, and setting the apartment on fire on September 19 to destroy evidence.
Authorities say she confessed to the crime, claiming Hill made unwanted sexual advances, and admitted to striking him repeatedly, hiding the weapon, and using lighter fluid to set the fire.
Hill’s body was found severely burned with head trauma, and the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.
Brown, held on a $500,000 cash-only bond, turned herself in on September 27.
The case remains under investigation.
