NSW Rural Fire Service crews contained a grass fire in Forest Grove, about 10 km from Bathurst, by 1 p.m. on September 30, 2025, after it broke out around midday on land off Limekilns Road.
The fire burned roughly 27 hectares but posed no immediate threat to people or property.
RFS personnel are conducting mop-up operations, and the cause remains unknown.
The incident occurred just one day before the start of New South Wales’ Bush Fire Danger Period on October 1.
