CyberDSA 2025 launched at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur, drawing over 8,000 professionals from 45 countries and 150 exhibitors from 15 nations for a three-day summit on cybersecurity, digital resilience, and trust.
Officially opened by Malaysia’s Minister of Digital YB Gobind Singh Deo, the event emphasized cyber resilience as vital to national security, economic stability, and public confidence amid rising threats like AI-driven attacks, supply chain risks, and critical infrastructure vulnerabilities.
The theme “Pioneering the Future: Building a Resilient and Trusted Digital Nation” guided discussions on AI, quantum threats, cyber defense, financial sector resilience, and operational readiness.
Key forums included the ASEAN Cyber Defence Network and MIESAC, while hackathons, training labs, and B2B meetings promoted innovation and collaboration.
Co-hosted by CyberSecurity Malaysia and the Malaysian Armed Forces’ Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Division, with support from multiple government ministries, the event aims to strengthen Malaysia’s role as a regional leader in cybersecurity.
