Cincinnati archdiocese reinstates Girl Scouts partnership with religious compliance conditions.
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has restored its 110-year partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, reversing a 2024 split over gender and sexuality policies.
Under a new agreement announced September 30, 2025, Girl Scout troops may use Catholic facilities if they comply with Catholic teachings, obtain pastor approval, and sign a Facility Use Agreement.
The Girl Scouts will add a disclaimer noting the archdiocese does not endorse all their policies.
The move, led by new Archbishop Robert Casey, aims to support youth development while preserving Catholic values.
