The Uttar Pradesh Trade Show 2025 ended with record attendance and over 200,000 B2B deals, while India announced a new EU trade deal set for October 1.
The third Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 concluded in Noida with record participation, drawing 2,250 exhibitors from Uttar Pradesh, over 500 foreign buyers from 80 countries including Russia, and around 500,000 visitors, generating more than 200,000 B2B deals.
The event, now confirmed as annual, saw a 30% rise in participation compared to its first edition.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced India’s Free Trade Agreement with the European Free Trade Association—covering Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland—will take effect October 1, 2025, adding to India’s growing network of trade pacts.
He also noted ongoing negotiations with 27 nations, including the U.S. and EU, and projected India’s economy will reach $5 trillion and become the world’s third-largest within two years, citing $700 billion in foreign exchange reserves.
