Starbucks launches protein-enhanced drinks nationwide with up to 36g protein per serving.
Starbucks has launched a new line of protein-enhanced beverages nationwide in the U.S. and Canada, starting September 29, 2025.
The offerings include Protein Lattes and Cold Foam Drinks with up to 36 grams of protein per grande serving, made with protein-boosted milk and flavored cold foams in options like vanilla, chocolate, matcha, banana, and seasonal varieties.
Customers can add protein cold foam for $2 or substitute regular milk with protein-boosted milk for $1, each adding 12 to 15 grams of protein.
The drinks are part of Starbucks’ broader menu refresh under CEO Brian Niccol’s “Back to Starbucks” strategy, which includes store closures and job cuts.
