Singapore to replace Pasir Ris Bus Interchange with 650 condos, retail, and a community hub by late 2025.
Singapore plans new housing and commercial developments near Pasir Ris MRT station on a 2.9ha site formerly occupied by the Pasir Ris Bus Interchange, which opened in 1989 and will be demolished by end-2025.
Up to 650 condominium units and 18,000 to 23,000 sq m of retail space are expected, with buildings allowed up to 60m due to revised aviation rules.
A new community hub for the town centre is under study.
A separate 18ha area near Sungei Loyang is undergoing an environmental study for potential development including up to 4,400 condos or 3,000 HDB flats and a linear park.
A nearby 2.3ha plot may hold 350 to 400 condos, possibly with sea views.
Two additional housing plots are reserved near the upcoming Elias MRT station.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority’s Draft Master Plan 2025 is on exhibition until Nov 29.
