A man in Maryland was critically injured in a stabbing linked to a personal dispute, prompting a manhunt for the suspect, who remains at large.
On September 27, 2025, a man in Lexington Park, Maryland, was critically injured in a stabbing at a home on Essex Drive, suffering multiple torso wounds. Responding deputies found the suspect, 21-year-old Delanta Darius Robertson of Baltimore, had fled on foot. The victim was airlifted to a trauma center and is in critical but stable condition. Authorities say the attack stemmed from a personal dispute between the victim and suspect, who were known to each other, and escalated during the day. The weapon was recovered at the scene. Robertson, described as a 5-foot-10-inch Black male with a dark beard and black hair, was last seen wearing black athletic pants and a black T-shirt. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on attempted murder and assault charges. Officials say the incident does not threaten the public and are urging anyone with information to contact the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Solvers, with a possible cash reward for tips leading to an arrest.
