flag Critica's Jupiter project shows 95% waste removal and rare earth grades up to 2%, supporting efficient, low-cost processing.

Critica Limited reports highly promising results from bulk testing at its Jupiter rare earths project in Western Australia, showing up to 95% waste removal and TREO grades increasing six to tenfold, reaching 1.2% to 2% in intermediate concentrates. The tests, using a 400-kilogram sample across multiple ore types in Vietnam, confirmed consistent performance with a simple, room-temperature flotation process that recovers over half the rare earths. The results support Critica’s “beneficiation-first” strategy, reducing costs and improving efficiency. The company is building a closed-circuit pilot plant to boost recovery and produce concentrate for hydrometallurgical testing with partners including ANSTO and Minutech. Strong magnet rare earths and scandium content were also confirmed. These outcomes follow a maiden resource estimate of 1.78 billion tonnes at 1,651ppm TREO. Critica is advancing toward a scoping study, aiming to secure approvals and offtake agreements for mixed rare earth products.
