The 2025 BRICS Special Economic Zones Dialogue in Hangzhou, held during the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo, advanced cooperation among BRICS nations and partners through the signing of four projects, including an education initiative in Malaysia and infrastructure financing in Indonesia. The event launched new AI and digital trade initiatives, released key reports on electronic bills of lading and SEZ cooperation, and facilitated business matchmaking involving over 40 Chinese firms. Site visits to leading Hangzhou companies and roundtables on AI innovation helped transition strategic dialogue into concrete economic partnerships, reinforcing Hangzhou’s role as a central hub for BRICS collaboration.
