Chennai-based space startup Agnikul Cosmos announced at the International Astronautical Congress 2025 its plans to develop fully reusable rockets to cut launch costs and boost sustainability.
The company highlighted progress in controlled-ascent testing, patented technologies like semi-cryogenic propulsion and integrated launch systems, and a new additive manufacturing facility that has cut production costs by 50%.
Supported by India’s IN-SPACe and ISRO, Agnikul aims to enable affordable, reusable launch services for small satellites, reducing debris and strengthening India’s global space presence.
