In the 2025 Asia Cup final, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan made history by becoming the first batter to hit three sixes off India’s Jasprit Bumrah in a T20 International, scoring 57 off 38 balls with six fours and three sixes.
His aggressive innings, including a 35-ball fifty, helped Pakistan reach 84 for 1 before he was dismissed by Axar Patel.
Farhan’s 51 runs off 34 balls against Bumrah highlighted his dominance over the Indian pacer.
Despite his effort, Pakistan’s middle order faltered, and India’s bowlers, led by Bumrah’s four wickets for 30 runs, restricted them to 146.
Bumrah also surpassed Mohammed Shami to become India’s eighth-highest wicket-taker across formats.
