Nigeria arrested Benin fugitive Kotin on Interpol request, handing him to Benin officials.
Nigerian police arrested Sunday Kotin, a fugitive from Benin Republic wanted for transnational crimes including armed banditry, drug trafficking, cattle rustling, and arms smuggling, in Idi Iroko Town, Ogun State.
The operation, conducted by the Nigeria Police Force National Central Bureau based on Interpol Benin’s request and credible intelligence, concluded without incident.
Kotin was interrogated and handed over to Benin officials in Cotonou.
