The residency permit, valid for five to 10 years, targets investors, skilled professionals, and descendants of former citizens, offering benefits like priority airport access and streamlined services.
Foreign companies establishing local subsidiaries accounted for nearly 96% of investment, with personal investors and other recipients contributing the rest.
The program also generated Rp 12.96 billion in non-tax state revenue, officials say, marking a significant step in boosting economic growth and international confidence in Indonesia’s investment climate.
