India's first Archery Premier League (APL) launches on Dussehra, September 28, 2025, with a 10-day tournament in New Delhi from October 2 to 12.
Six teams—Prithviraj Yodhas, Mighty Marathas, Kakatiya Knights, Rajputana Royals, Chero Archers, and Chola Chiefs—will compete in two round-robin phases, followed by semi-finals and a final at the Yamuna Sports Complex.
The event features a mix of compound and recurve archery, showcasing top Indian athletes like Deepika Kumari and Jyothi Surekha Vennam alongside international stars including Mike Schloesser, Andrea Becerra, Brady Ellison, and Alejandra Valencia.
APL’s director Anil Kamineni emphasized the cultural significance of the Dussehra launch, linking the league to India’s heritage and Olympic aspirations.
