Delhi police have arrested Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Partha Sarathy, in Agra in connection with allegations of sexually harassing female students at the Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management in Vasant Kunj. The suspect, who had been evading capture across multiple states, was apprehended after a three-day manhunt. Authorities recovered multiple devices and fake credentials falsely portraying him as a government official. A complaint was filed on August 4 by an institution administrator involving students in an EWS scholarship program. Police plan to seek his remand on September 28, and further investigation, including forensic analysis of digital devices and verification of financial assets, is ongoing.
