Colorado Springs police arrested Jordan Ahola after a fire, property damage, and violent standoff with officers.

Colorado Springs police arrested 25-year-old Jordan Ahola Saturday night after a domestic incident involving a fire, property damage, and a confrontation with officers. Responding to a 10 p.m. call about a weapon and fire on Centennial Boulevard, officers and firefighters contained a blaze that threatened nearby homes. Ahola then broke windows at multiple vehicles and businesses, causing thousands in damages. Officers located him near 3400 Centennial Boulevard holding a crowbar, refusing to drop it. After warnings and deployment of K9 Riggs, who subdued him, Ahola was taken to a hospital for minor injuries and later booked into jail. No officers were injured. The incident is under investigation.
